Christmas Party! Millitimed Vaguely to "Sometime Around Christmas"

Anne and Amy have been very very busy over the last week or so, transforming their usually simple white room into the perfect place for a Christmas party.

There are garlands of holly and balsam strung around the room, leading away from the wreath between the windows (and there's a grumpy looking crow, perched in the middle of the wreath, trying to figure out how to get the red ribbon from around his neck). A Christmas tree, candles ablaze, stands in one corner, with presents tucked under its branches.

Welcome, dear friend, to Anne and Amy's Christmas party.

Helen takes the package. "Oooo...I can't wait to see what it is!" She tells Amy.

Were Amy to open her package, she would find gold Necklace bearing a small, gold Pegasus Charm.
On the front of the handmade card, Helen has drawn a candle wreath. Amy—I thought you might enjoy this! Happy Holidays! ~Helen

Helen grins. "So how have you been? It's been too long!"

Helen laughs. "Yes, yes we should open them!"

She takes hold of her gift and looks to Amy. "Should we both go at them at once then?"

Helen laughs too as she says, "Two..."

She poises her hands on the wrapping of the gift.

Helen also giggles happily as she tears open the wrapping paper. "Oh wow, Amy!" Helen admires the pillow, beaming.

"Thank you Amy. It will look wonderful in the appartment!" She beams at the necklace. "It looks spectacular on you, Amy!"

Helen shakes her head. "Unfortunately, no. I haven't seen them in a while, so I assume they're having a quiet holiday." She grins and hugs the pillow.

Helen laughs. "I do too, but, I'm afraid the boys are not big party-goers." She laughs, taking in her surroundings. "The decorations are wonderful, Amy!" She grins.

Helen laughs. "I can imagine." She looks to the squirrels. "Oh, no, I do not think I have." She crouches down, and holds her hand out. "Hello, there." She grins.

Helen gently pets both squirrels, one with each hand.

"They're adorable, Amy!" she says, warmly, as she grins brightly.

Helen laughs. "Like my girls. Nala and Elena. They're so spoiled, but so sweet." She eyes the crow. "So I can tell." She grins.

Helen grins a bit more. "I'm sure he is," she says, sincerely. "I guess pets tend to be much like people in that way, yes?"

[identity profile] prettyhelen.livejournal.com 2005-12-15 07:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Helen laughs again. "As do Nala and Elena, though Nala is far more friendly." She giggles.

Helen grins. "Yes, it is." Giving the squirrels one final pet each, Helen stands and beams at Amy. "I think I shall. Thank you so much for throwing this party!"
