Christmas Party! Millitimed Vaguely to "Sometime Around Christmas"

Anne and Amy have been very very busy over the last week or so, transforming their usually simple white room into the perfect place for a Christmas party.

There are garlands of holly and balsam strung around the room, leading away from the wreath between the windows (and there's a grumpy looking crow, perched in the middle of the wreath, trying to figure out how to get the red ribbon from around his neck). A Christmas tree, candles ablaze, stands in one corner, with presents tucked under its branches.

Welcome, dear friend, to Anne and Amy's Christmas party.

"What. What?! Are you kidding me? Lilly got --"

Logan smirks. "Don't know if she got to keep it," he says. "But she totally got to use Indiana Jones's whip. So you're not getting one."

Veronica doesn't say anything for a moment. She may very well be dead from fangirl envy.

Logan is pleased. He has made Veronica Mars speechless.

It's not his preferred method, but he'll take what he can get.

"Pretty much," he says. "So, have you seen Weevil since he showed up here?"

Logan nods. "Almost got him put in the cells," he says, pleased. "But good sense prevailed, and no one hit anyone else."

She pats him on the head.

Logan wrinkles his nose. "I certainly don't need to spend any more time in a cell," he points out. "Weevil probably doesn't either, given his track record. We'll take it outside the next time we need to blow off steam."

Is it wrong that he's wondering if he can manipulate her under the miseltoe?

Probably. He's still wondering.

Unless the spike in her punch was some more GHB, that's going to have to be some very smooth manipulating.

Veronica crosses her arms. "Yeah? Heard you kept it inside when you fought the other day."

Logan rolls his eyes. "And?"

She goes back to sipping the drink.

"You'll notice I didn't even get a suspension?" he says, and he's pleased about that, too.

Logan appears offended. "I think you're underestimating my charm," he says. "And my power. I own that school."

"Sexual favours for Van Clemmons himself? Gross."

Logan rolls his eyes. "Since Moorehead's out of power, I don't have a lot of options, do I?"

He can't help but snicker at the ex-principal's name, though.
