Christmas Party! Millitimed Vaguely to "Sometime Around Christmas"
Anne and Amy have been very very busy over the last week or so, transforming their usually simple white room into the perfect place for a Christmas party.
There are garlands of holly and balsam strung around the room, leading away from the wreath between the windows (and there's a grumpy looking crow, perched in the middle of the wreath, trying to figure out how to get the red ribbon from around his neck). A Christmas tree, candles ablaze, stands in one corner, with presents tucked under its branches.
Welcome, dear friend, to Anne and Amy's Christmas party.

Re: Greet Anne
Trina glances at her. Good figure, great hair, bright smile. A little more . . . wholesome than usual, but pretty enough to be his type.
"You can do better, Sweetie. Trust me, I've known him all his life."
Re: Greet Anne
"I'm--not sure what you mean. He's a good friend of mine."
Re: Greet Anne
Smile.
"So, if you don't mind my asking, who does your hair? Because the color is stunning."
Re: Greet Anne
That bewildered look is only growing stronger.
"Well--I do. And Amy helps me put up the back part. But the color is natural."
Re: Greet Anne
Trina does the paying compliments at a party thing for a living, basically.
Re: Greet Anne
"Well, thank you. I assure you, it is not at all fashionable where I come from, but it's nice to know red hair is appreciated elsewhere," she says, gaily.

Re: Greet Anne
"Oh, I've heard of . . ." she trails off.
She's not entirely clear on the social rules of this place, but she's pretty sure saying, I played you in a community theatre production when I was eleven is rude. Or awkward. Or something.
". . . of PEI," Trina finishes, a little lamely. "Quiet little place, in my time, but I hear it's pretty."
