Christmas Party! Millitimed Vaguely to "Sometime Around Christmas"

Anne and Amy have been very very busy over the last week or so, transforming their usually simple white room into the perfect place for a Christmas party.

There are garlands of holly and balsam strung around the room, leading away from the wreath between the windows (and there's a grumpy looking crow, perched in the middle of the wreath, trying to figure out how to get the red ribbon from around his neck). A Christmas tree, candles ablaze, stands in one corner, with presents tucked under its branches.

Welcome, dear friend, to Anne and Amy's Christmas party.

"Yeah!" He grins.

She bends close to him, and glances over at the half-decorated tree and the table of cookies.

"Well," she says, solemenly, "Amy and I were ever so busy, and we didn't have time to finish decorating the tree! Would you like to help?"

He glances over that way, and his grin broadens.

"Love to."

"Wonderful!"

She smiles back at him, brightly.

"And I'm sure the squirrels would love a playmate."

Her voice lowers, just slightly, though she glances up at Tom with a smile before fixing her attention on Gavroche again.

"And because this is a party, you may have as many cookies as you like."

To Tom.

"Or as many as you allow."

Gavroche is beaming now. He likes parties. And girls who give him illicit cookies.

Anne beams back, and holds out her hand to him, and to Ingress, to bring them over to the tree.

There's even materials to make their own decorations.
