Keep Meg & Amy From Cooking Party

There are streamers over the door and glitter is flung generously (if randomly) about over countertops. (To be on the safe side, the girls have used edible glitter, like that on the cookies they handed out as invitations.)

There are large signs posted above the stoves and ovens with picture of Meg and Amy and the words "NOT ALLOWED" in large and bright red letters below them.

It can only mean one thing.

There's a party in the kitchen, and someone has got to keep these girls from cooking.

Yeah, he'd skip it, even given the choice. Because 'Franz' is bad, and so are 'Hermann' 'Fritz' and even 'Hans.'

"How are things in Neptune these days?"

"Better than they could be," Logan says. "Weird, though. My best friend's ex-girlfriend just had a kid and kicked the bucket, so he took off with their daughter to like, Mexico or something."

"Oh, Logan, how terrible."

"Yeah," he says. "It's a mess. I mean, I'm glad he worked stuff out, but it kinda sucks not to have him around, you know?"

Amy is not entirely clear on how someone's, er, "kicking the bucket" is something to be "worked out."

"Of course. That's what happens when our friends aren't around. We miss them."

"Yeah," he says. "I'm hoping he'll find his way back here eventually, though."

"But you should go cook something. Or pester the people who are cooking something. And make sure to leave a message for Bar."
