Me, me!

1) I believe, my dear, that you approached me. But I'm terribly, frightfully glad that you did.

I'm glad you like my tea parties. I have fun with them, and I really love being a princess with you.

I was really little when Door brought me home from the bad place where I'd been kept. Tom wasn't even living in our house yet. But when I met him, he gave me a book, and he was really nice, and I liked him a lot because he made Door smile.

...does this come as any kind of surprise?

. . . no, not even a little bit.

1) You were out by the lake and it was such a very lovely day and you looked like a good person to say hello to. So I did.

2) Heavens, I don't know that many books, or movies, or even songs you'd know. I still think you'd like King David, in the Bible. Did you ever get to him, in your reading?

3) You were and still are the perfect person to give a small pink horse with a green mane and tail to.

4) Oh, heavens, again. I'm not sure I can pick one -- there are ever so many . . . meeting you, and giving you Killer, and the day we adopted each other, and that picnic in the Forest near Amber, and the day on the lake singing with Susan Allgood, and looking for a Christmas tree with you and Anne, and telling you that I was getting married in the stables late after Ingress' party, and your visit to Phanff to meet my parents, and dancing with you at my wedding, and introducing you to my Susan . . . it's hard to pick. But if I have to . . . *long pause* . . . the first time you took me riding. Because it was a day that was special and lovely just because you decided to make it special and lovely.

5. Horses. And not just the pink and green kind.

6. Does it ever bother you that I can take you to see my country, and you can't take me to see yours?
