It's almost fun. There's something satisfying about the destruction of creatures that seem so...dead. They make a lot of noise as they get bits hacked off, and he gets hit by more than one whirring cog, and flying shard.

There is a significant portion of his brain trying to figure out how they work, as he swings, and ducks, and stabs as best he can. He may even be humming a bit.
